Abstract

This study aims to survey the need for student development in the master's program in education science, faculty of education, Champasak University, and compare the need for student development in the master's program in education science, faculty of education, Champasak University. The sampling consisted of 321 participants: administrators, professors, and students. The research instrument applied a questionnaire, interview form, and sound recorder. The data was analyzed by statistical analysis, average, and standard deviation. In contrast, interview data was described and analyzed protocol.
The results found that the need for self-development especially administration and management was high ( x = 4 ,S.D=0.67) Academic improvement was at ( x = 4.023 S. D = 0.64 ) Learning and teaching management was high ( x = 4.12 ,S.D=0.50), and Visual aids and technology was also high ( x = 4.07 S. D = 0.67 .
