Abstract

The objectives of this study are: 1) the condition of service problems and Library management and administration 2) the satisfaction that affects the service and using the library at Champasack University the duration of Study from 12 October 2022 to 31 June 2023. The study sample included 576 teachers and students of Champasack University. A questionnaire was utilized as the instrument to collect data. The survey data was analyzed using Taro Yamane, descriptive statistics computed included frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation.
The study found that there were three types 1). the Overall of management is moderate with average values of 3.07 and SD = 0.75 followed by management with an average value of 2.98 and SD = 0.69 And the least is the service with an average value of 2.96 and SD = 0.72 2). the satisfaction that affects the service and using library of staff, teachers in 3 aspects found, Service and using library in the medium level with an average of 3. 14 and SD = 0.7 The building, location and environment are at a moderate level with an average of 3.38 and SD = 0.78 In terms of information sources and facilities are at a moderate level with an average of 3.12 and SD = 0.73, 3 ) The satisfaction that affects the service and using library of students in 3 aspects is found: the Service and using are at a high level with an average of 3.71 and SD = 0.61 The building, location and environment are at high levels with an average value of 3.81 and SD = 0.66 and information sources and facilities are at a high level with an average of 3.52 and SD = 0.73 .
The overall results of the comparison according to the opinion of the teachers and staff we found that: In terms of service and using, males have an average higher than females, accounting for 3. 16 percent, for the building, location and environment have near the same average 3.39 percent, in terms of information sources and facilities, males have an average higher than females, accounting for 3. 14 percent, And the comparison results according to the opinions of male and female students. Overall, it was found that in terms of service and usage of males have an average more than females, accounting for 3.73 percent, in terms of buildings, places and environment, females have an average higher than males, accounting for 3.83 percent, and in terms of information sources and facilities, males have an average higher than females, accounting for 3.54 percent.
