Study the topic of attitudes and understanding of sustainable banking with the aim of studying the views of the Bank Supervision Department, Banque Pour Le Commerce Exterior Lao Public and Policy Bank towards sustainable banking, with the tools used in collecting information by interviewing through questions and inquiries through a questionnaire of 178 employees for both business banks from all employees at headquarters. The hypothesis test uses SPSS software using T-test, One-way ANOVA and Multiple Comparisons (Least Significant Differences: LSD) to compare the average value difference at a 95% confidence level.
The results of the study show that: 1) Sustainable Banking is a new task, where the regulations used to manage and the tools used to evaluate are not yet available, for turning business banking into a sustainable bank is obviously very challenging and necessary. 2) Sustainable banking awareness is the lowest accepted. sustainable banking side is that the bank that must play a responsible role in the environment is 58.43% and sustainable banking awareness focuses on the sustainable growth of the business in the long term is 67.98%, for recognizing aspects of sustainable banks, there is an additional study interest in sustainable banking with 86.52%. 3) Overall frustration about sustainable banks at a moderate level, in which there is a high level of understanding in the work honesty or corruption, while understanding of credit, services and corporate governance is moderate level. 4) General information on gender, age, education, branch of education, working age and position were affected by stagnation at different sustainable banks.
