Studying people's participation in the development of the people's lives in three villages: Sam Laeng Village, Don Wai Village and Hieng Village in Champasak Province

Abstract

To study the participation of the people in the development of the people's lives in three villages: Ban Samlieng, Ban Don Wai and Ban Hieng in Champasak province the aim of study the participation of the people in development of life in the three villages Ban Samlieng, Ban Don Wai and Ban Hieng in Sukhumaka District, Champasak Province. The population is 3 villages and 383 families. a total of 196 families were sampled. Use descriptive statistics (Descriptive Statistics) which consists of Frequency, Percentage and Average value (Mean) and Standard Deviation (Standard Deviation) Use One-way ANOVA statistics to compare the differences between 3 independent variables.

The results of the study found that: the people are development of the village, especially in the decision-making aspect, which has a meeting to discuss and simultaneously implement it. The condition of the roads is inconvenient and the traffic is not convenient. The people are not enthusiastic about planting products to sell. They only have to cultivate and raise animals to feed their families. People have a moderate amount of money because the people do not produce products and lack of planning in spending money and accumulating money. In terms of living transparency and do not have debts.

Participation in operations has a statistical effect with a confidence level of 99% between the group but within the group is not statistically significant. Participating in decision-making has a statistical effect with a confidence level of 99% between the groups because all activities that will take place in the village are discussed and decided together.
