Abstract

Study factors affecting the decision to choose natural tourism attraction in Paksong district Champasack province aimed to 1) study on factors that affect the decision to choose natural tourism sites in Paksong district, Champasak Province. 2) To compare the factors that affect the decision to choose a natural tourist destination, classified by personal infomation. 3) To study the relationship between the behavior of tourists and the factors that affect the decision to choose a natural tourist destination in Paksong district Champasak Province. The sample group used in this research are tourists who came to visit Tat fan and Tat yueng waterfall, which data collection started from July to December 2023, amounting to 400 samples, The research tool was questionnaire, data analysis with descriptive statistics or basic statistics such as frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation, hypothesis testing using inference statistics such as t-test, One-Way ANOVA or F-test and Post-hoc comparison by LSD and Chi-square test.
The results of this study found that: 1) Factors affecting the decision to choose natural tourist sites in Paksong District, Champasak Province are generally at a high level with an average value of 3.82, when detailing each factor, it can be seen that the number 1 information recognition factor, with an average value of 4.29 is the most important level, 2) Compare the factors that affect the decision to choose a natural tourist site in Paksong District, Champasak Province by distinguishing according to the general information of tourists, seeing that tourists with different genders have given the importance of the factors that affect the decision to choose a tourist site that is not different.
