The experiment was conducted at Barchieng Agricultural Integrated Research Center, Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry, Champasak University; Champasak Province, during January to May, 2016 to investigate the effect of the arachis pintoi cover crop in sweet corn demonstration plots for sustainable and stable soil use, an experiment was cantneted to demonstrate has two plots and two area comparison sach as: zone one planted arachis pintoi as the cover cropping in sweet corn at the same area and zone two planted sweet corn is single corp or monocrop; Results showed that, the effect of the arachis pintoi cover crop in sweet corn demonstration plots for sustainable and stable soil use, the high yielding of sweet corn was a trend found on arachis pintoi cover cropping with 5,413 kg ha¹ This was due to sweet corn components yielding higher in the length of fruit, number of filled grains per fruit, number of grain per fruit and 1,000 grains weight. The low yieldthat was found from sweet corn is monocropping lowest yield with 4,354 kg ha¹, An components yield of sweet corn has low trend, respectively.
