CURRICULUM ADMINISTRATION OF SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN SEKONG PROVINCE
The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the state of curriculum management in Secondary Schools in Sekong Province.

The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the state of curriculum management in Secondary Schools in Sekong Province. 2) To compare the opinions of administrators and teachers to the curriculum management of Secondary Schools in Sekong province by distinguishing the position, Education qualification, work experience and location of the school. 3) To study guidelines and recommendations regarding the administration of Secondary School curriculum in Sekong Province. The sample group in this study was a group of 38 administrators and 145 teachers in secondary schools in Sekong province. The tool used in this research is questionnaire. The data analysis is done using SPSS software.
The result of this study found:
- The state of curriculum management within comprehensive secondary schools in Sekong Province found:
In term of Curriculum preparation found that the item that is used to define the evaluation method clearly is highest average value. Even so, Administrators-teachers and community personnel are involved in determining standards and learning content for each subject is the lowest average value.
In trem of Curriculum management plan determination found that the item with the highest average value is the teacher involved in planning, the guidance of thinking, qualities and behavior to the students. Although, the lowest average value is the plan to use local knowledge sources that are beneficial to the students' learning.
In trem of Proceed to use the course found that the item with the highest average value is that the teacher is involved in planning, organizing community social activities that provide for the needs and inculcate the awareness of customs for students. However, the item with the lowest average value is planned to use local knowledge resources that are useful for student learning.
In term of Guidance, monitoring, and evaluation found that the item with the highest average value are evaluations of course use in all semesters. However, the item with the lowest average value is parents, guardians and the community participating in the activities of developing the quality of teaching and learning of the school.
- The result of comparing the opinions of administrators and teachers on the implementation of curriculum administration in Sekong province by division according to position found no difference. According to educational qualifications, it was found that: those who graduated from high school and bachelor's degree were different opinions. Based on work experience, it was found that there were not different opinion, and based on the location of the school, it was found that overall there were not different opinion.
3. Guidelines and recommendations regarding the administration of secondary school curriculum in Sekong province found that: Administrators and teachers should create a plan to improve and develop secondary education curriculum, especially in terms of inspection, monitoring and evaluation of the curriculum in each period; Administrators should spread public relations to create awareness and understanding for parents and the community to see the importance of implementing the curriculum; The school provides enough innovative learning media, learning resources and educational technology as needed; Schools should invite local intellectuals and local scholars to organize learning activities for students and should provide education, methods for parents, guardians and the community to participate in activities to develop the quality of teaching and learning.
