Abstract

This research is a study on the administration of academic work in primary school groups in Salanvan province. It aims: 1) to investigate the state of administration of academic work of primary schools groups in Salavan province; 2) to compare the opinions of administrators and teachers about the administration of academic work of the primary school groups by gender and educational level; and 3) to find a way to improve the administration of academic work of primary schools groups in Salavan province

The research results revealed that:

Overall, it is found that the academic work administration in primary schools in Saravan province is at a good level.

The comparison of the opinions of administrators and teachers about the management of academic work in Sarawan province primary school groups different genders, different positions in general view did not differ. However, the perspective of the administrators and teachers with different educational qualifications was seen to be different.

Guidelines for improving the management of academic work in primary schools groups in Saravan province were associated with the followings:

Curriculum management: There is a need to improve the curriculum to be suitable for the age of the students, improve the content of some subjects, and the school must have a curriculum orientation before creating a teaching program.

Teaching and learning management: It is necessary to organize teaching and learning activities to suit the students, suitable for the level of their knowledge, ability, age and intelligence by using a variety of teaching methods.

Teaching and learning material management: There are ways to encourage teachers to produce teaching and learning materials, using or displaying them appropriately and involving students in creating more teaching and learning materials.

The administrative aspects of teaching - evaluation of learning: There are ways to encourage teachers to use teaching-evaluating methods correctly. The evaluation must be carried out before learning, during learning, and after learning, and the evaluation must have a level of easy-to-difficult activity to encourage students to learn more.

Internal orientation management: There must be a school orientation for teachers. Teacher must be trained in a variety of teaching methods. The school must organize orientation in its school at least twice a year.
