The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the state of administration of the academic work of secondary schools in Laongam District, Saravan Province. 2) to compare the opinions of administrators and teachers regarding the administration of academic affairs of comprehensive secondary schools in Laongam District, Saravan Province by distinguishing according to gender, duties, educational qualifications and work experience. 3) to study how to manage the academic affairs of secondary schools in Laongam District, Saravan Province. The sample group in this research were a group of 24 administrators and 145 teachers from a Secondary School in Laongam District, Saravan Province. The tools used to collect data was a 5-level evaluation questionnaire, data analysis using a complete program (SPSS).
The result of this research were:
1) The academic affairs work’s Administration of the comprehensive high school in in Laongam District, Saravan Province overall at a very high level.
2) Comparing the opinions of administrators and teachers regarding the academic affairs work’s Administration of comprehensive Secondary Schools in Laongam District, Saravan Province by distinguishing according to gender, duties, educational qualifications and work experience as follows: The opinions of the administrators and teachers discriminated by gender, it was found that: Overall, there is no statistically significant difference at the 0.05 level. The opinions of administrators and teachers according to their duties. It was found that: the opinions of administrators and teachers as a whole are not statistically significantly different at the 0.05 level. The opinions of administrators and teachers differ according to qualifications with statistical significance at the 0.05 level. The opinions of administrators and teachers based on overall experience are found to have different opinions with statistical significance at the 0.05 level.
3) The way to improve the academic affairs work’s administration of Secondary Schools in Laongam District, Saravan Province in 5 aspects are as follows: schools must pay attention to teaches training every year so that teachers can pay attention to the development of teaching and learning management. Each teacher before having the classroom must prepare the teaching and learning materials. Teachers should use the measurement method and send the measurement results to the parents and guardians of the students every month and the school should encourage the teachers to participate in each other's lessons more.
